Went yote hunting yesterday after work. I don't hunt them much during bow season because I hate having to use rimfire. First set around the 3 minute mark 2 yotes came charging in fast. When they got close enough I barked and shot the first dead in the chest with the 22mag. My FoxPro kicked over to pup distress and I starting shooting at the dog running off. As he was about to leave the field a third dog came running into the pup distress and I shot him at about 30yrds with the 22 mag. I ended up having to finish both dogs off with the shotgun. Would've killed all 3 if I had my 22-250. Eitherway I was pumped being able to put the down with the 22mag......36 and 39lb males

Congrats on your double. What do you do with the dead yotes? Do you skin them out or vulture food? Just curious. I've never skinned one.

Usually buzzards but if the have a pretty hide I'll try and find someone to give it too. I'm gave the ones in this picture to my nephew so he could tan the hides.

I bet those winter coats will make nice pelts. I bet they would be worth some money too.
