This was me and my brother's second career double. Both times one bird has been a double beard.

Not much to either story. My bird was unlucky enough for us to wind up set up between him and his hens. We literally never even touched a call. He flew down into the field earlier than I've ever seen a bird fly down. It was still dark enough when I shot him that I had a little trouble getting the bead on his head. He was 19.1 lbs, 9.25 inch beard and 7/8 inch spurs.

My brother's bird was lead to his death by his lady friends. We just got in front of them and let them lead him to his death. He was 20.3 lbs, 9.5 inch beard and 6 inch beard, worn down 7/8 inch spurs.
 
Congratulations! But the shotguns appearing to point at each of you guys in the photo, even unloaded, is not promoting proper firearm safety.

Yeah not to be debbie downer but what he said. I don't like toy guns pointed at me. Congrats for sure though.
 
That is an awesome hunt. My brother and I hunt together and there is nothing better!!!!

Isn't there a verse in the bible about a woman leading a man to his death....
