Had an opportunity to harvest this bird off the roost on Monday. He gave me the slip Saturday and hung up Sunday. I altered my approach and set up Monday. He was on the ground by 630. His 1" spurs indicate he is a two year old. But he weighed 22lbs sporting 10" and 5" beards.

Congrats buddy! How far of a shot? You put a thumping on his noggin! Like Andy I enjoy your posts very much!
Thanks. He was 20 yards I guess. He tried to get away from me when he saw me adjust on him. I wasn't having it!
