From my personal observations & reports from other people, I don't think the majority of does have come in yet around Montgomery Co & Southern KY. Last weekend there was some hard chasing but not much since. All the does I have seen are still grouped up & mature bucks aren't on them. Of course I have seen 1.5 yr olds running crazy, but that doesn't mean much & if you are around a doe that is in heat then you probably have every mature buck in the area around you. Any one have any insight or seeing similar situations???

Same for me! I have hunted for the last 8 days on two farms one south Montgomery the other central Montgomery doe still grouped up and lots of 1.5 year old bucks? Got 9 more days to hunt in a row so maybe it will get better!

dead here as well. but the week after thanksgiving should be incredible. that is always when i kill mature bucks chasing.

They were chassing all over the woods yesterday morning here in SE Tn. This morning.........nothing.

I have been seeing a group af 5 doe all season in campbell county(4 doe and 1 little one). Yesterday only one little fawn showed up. I can only guess where the bigger ones where.

I'm guessing now till December 8th should be a good time to be in the woods.

I agree with you guys. I saw a young buck chasing a doe pretty hard last night and a few single young bucks roaming. This morning I saw two different groups of does just casually strolling.
