Have a place to run/train bird dogs in Vonore? I have a 6month old Griff that is ready to up her game and I used to train my GSP there years ago. Is it still available to the public? Thanks

McGhee-Carson unit is open for dog training except during field trials and big game hunt (Dec. 13 youth hunt). The field trials are scheduled with the area manager (David Whitehead) so you would have to call him to find out when they are. David Whitehead 423-884-6767

McGhee Carson unit is the area just south of Fort Loudoun State Park.
