Prop flung an ear yesterday and it went upwards and knocked a chunk out of the cavitation plate of the lower unit. Will be out of commission for a couple weeks waiting on repairs. It's always something with a dang boat!
Put another prop on and go fishing. Cavitation plate doesn't have to be perfect. I've only saw it happen once before. His continued up the side of motor and doing more damage.
