Does anyone else have this problem?

1st things 1st this is the only gripe I have against fishermen and only to the fishermen that do this. Yesterday we were duck hunting at the mouth of a slough and keep in mind we been there since before daylight. We have about 2 dozen decoys out along with some motion decoys. Now I don't know about you all but last time I drove into a slough with ducks in it and even started toward them they flew off. Anyway we had a fishermen drive up within 30yds of our decoys and shut his motor off, drop down the trolling motor, grab a rod an started to work on it with the intent to fish right outside our decoys. Now who in there right mind would pull up to duck decoys knowing there are hunters in a blind close with loaded shotguns? Pretty stupid if you ask me. I mean our boat was only parked about 50yds away on the opposite side of where our dexoys were and ole boy came from down river so he had to have seen it parked there! Now I know the lake is public land for everyone to use but for goodness sake what happened to common courtesy? For Pete sake we could accidently shoot you for crying out loud. I mean if you were fishing somewhere I wanted to duck hunt I wouldn't pull into your fishing hole and start throwing out decoys! Anyway we hollered at the guy and he kindly waved his hand and idled out about 200yds and commenced to fishing which is perfectly fine. If you don't mind getting sprinkled I don't mind to try and not shoot in your direction. I think I am going to write TWRA and share my opinion about how there should be be a law that fishermen can't fish within 200yds of a duck hunter. I'm sure there would be a lot of grey area in that type of law but I should be something like I quoted.

We had that happen when I duck hunted. We also had a group of ducks come through that give us a passing shot about the time this guy got to our decoys. The birds were to our left and he was to our right about 40 yards from the decoys. Needless to say after we shot at the ducks he pulled the trolling motor and was gone. Problem solved. There was no way in the world he didn't know we were there.

Sharpshooter I have done the same thing before as well. It is kinda funny to see how quick they can get outta dodge! I just can't believe that some people are so stupid/careless to fish in a duck hunters decoys. Another time we were hunting a creek channel and a guy came trolling through casting his plug right in the middle of our spread like we weren't even there. 1 of the guys I was hunting with had words with him. Like I said the lake is public for good grief don't bother us and we won't bother you. And if we are hunting a creek channel just motor on by and get plenty far away to not bother us and there won't be a problem.

Have had it happen several times when trying to early goose hunt..... they don't stick around for long after the shooting started.... Several years ago some people I use to hunt with had some guys come running up in their goose decoys trying to bushwhack them only to be ducking for cover as the shot was bouncing off their pontoon boat. Have also had people on jet-skis come running up close to the decoys trying to flush them..... other times had people in ski boats come busting by, but again once any shooting starts, they keep their distance.
