Zero. I bought 1/2 cow off my uncle in October, actually had to buy another freezer to fit it all in there. Our numbers are back to normal from the 2019 ehd die off. Several does were taken from our property by our guys to keep them in check. Next year I full expect there to be an abundance of deer….and an abundance of space in my freezers 🤣. I plan on hammering them then, especially with a bow

I didn't kill one either. I was going to then had change of mind once put in the position to. I know for a management plan it's good to shoot a few. If population dictates that. I think the reason I don't shoot one most times. Is I grew up at times when they were not killed. And most places I hunted they were never allowed to be killed. And I guess that stuck with me. But I do believe you should take what you can use. . Who knows I might kill one or 2 next year.Meat in the freezer then time to focus on a mature buck. Also some of the public I hunt I've been hunting for a long time. And I can tell when the doe population is a little low.use to see large family groups of doe's. Now it's 2 or 3 at a time vs 8 or 9. I won't shoot a doe if she has fawns with her. Who knows what the future holds but at this point and time I'm not starving.

I "killed" two. [WMA hunt] First does i've killed in many years.
I don't kill does on my place but will on a WMA if legal.

6…and needed to kill more, but life has gotten in the way of hunting the last few years.
Killed 3 the day after Christmas, and so did my daughter. Killed 3 more this evening. There were over 30 does and fawns in the plot this evening when I shot the first deer, along with a really nice 9 point, a few smaller bucks, and a few bucks that had already dropped their antlers.

1 to earn a buck tag. We only killed one on our lease as well after the neighbors got going, they hammered the deer this year, Their prerogative and alright by me* especially since I think it was more to offset the crazy inflation. In years past they haven't killed near as many.

*However, the bucks we killed and the one doe all had corn in them. I'm afraid some of the hammering they did was made a little easier.

My farm in Fayette co is eat up with does. I've killed 5 sop far and haven't made a dent in them. Got 2 bucks and one was CWD positive. All does we're negative.

I've killed 2 does in Bama so far. Got at least 4 does to bucks there.

Just two, but wanted two more, no buck this season. Seen two bucks but no shot or they may have replaced the does. I hunt for the meat, so no harvest restrictions except spots.

0 but not for lack of trying. Step dad is old school so he acts funny when we shoot them. I guess he doesn't see the correlation between us shooting 4 or 5 a year for a few years and the sudden increase in 6 points and larger. Gotta let them spikes live!
But this season, any doe I had a chance at was being followed by a buck, and I could not convince myself that an even larger one was further behind..

1 Not enough when they are eating the bark off trees. Saw plenty of Does and some Good Bucks . Actually called someone in need and gave her away thinking I would shoot a few more. Just one of those years everything was moving in thickets .

None. We didn't see enough on our place to warrant shooting any. Used to always see decent sized groups in late season, but not so much anymore. We see way more bucks than does.

4 does from 3 different properties. My son killed 2 does. My daughter killed 1 doe from Yuchi. My freezer is full and I was able to give a few deer to the following:
-next door neighbor who wants to hunt but was only able to do so once this season
-close friend who does not hunt but his family eats venison; he also happens to own a small parcel of property where we hunt 😀
-my dad who had two shoulder surgeries and was not able to hunt this year until the very end of season and did not kill a deer

Currently at 5, spread out over 3 counties, and I have given them all to neighbors/friends/family per their requests. I may shoot 1-2 more as I have a local fireman that just ask me for some venison if I was still able, and I could use one for my freezer. I typically kill 3-5 does "most years", but some years just 1-2, all depending on the circumstances of that particular year/season.

I ended up killing one early Dec. I knew I had only a couple of days of hunting left. It kept my streak of 26 years of killing a deer a season a live. I actually watched her and another for almost 25 mins feed before I decided to pull the trigger.
