Doe/deer scents

Have heard great things about Code Blue Doe Estrus (claims to be from one doe and pure) and I know a lot of people like Tinks 69 but I think the Code Blue is a lot better quality. I used Hunter Specialties Special Reserve Doe Estrus (claims the same as Code Blue) on November 9 and put out one of the cotton scent things about 20 yards to the north of me and hung one under my stand and less than 30 minutes after I got settled in the stand a nice 6 point walked up from the south east to the north east of me at about 10 to 15 yards of me. Idk if it was the scent or coincidence because I've used it twice since then and haven't seen any more deer.

I used golden estrus. 100% money back guarantee. I was blown at for two days straight. ill remain scent free from here on out!

Think I'll be scent free too. Think the 6 point was just coincidence and it seems like a waste of money during rut. They are moving enough that I'll catch one walking though the trails in the woods at my stand or I'll catch one chasing in the fields.

This will be my first year going "scent free". I'm not going to use any estrous products, just try to reduce my scent and hunt the wind.

Fresh scent seems to work better then others I have used ,however there is no cure all to attracting deer ,no matter if its a rattling bag or grunt call or deer scent ...sometimes they work sometimes they don't .

reason i was asking is my elderly dad has to hunt close to the truck .so i set him up a warm shooting house on the edge of the food plot field. he regularly sees doe's and small bucks. i know there is some bigger bucks in the area but i think they just check the field from thick cover . i was thinking and hoping maybe i could help pull them out in the open with doe scent during the pre rut for him but i dont want to put something out there that hurts more than it helps.

If your going to use it get it fresh, as in go by a new bottle dont use something that has been opened since last year and i've never pulled in a mature buck with it, 2.5 year old at the best. About 2 years ago i quit all the rattling and grunting and started using a doe bleet can and have had good luck with it. Killed the second best buck with a bow using it. May be something you can try during the rut

Your own urine is just as effective. Plus, it is cheaper and easier to carry.

That is not a joke. It is all BSK and I use. All I have used for over 20-years. Superb scrape freshener. However, the only reason I use it is because I have an enlarged prostate.
