Did I wreck my spot?

As i was coming in this morning i bumbed a group of does and they bounded off and then i slowed down to try and setup and they came back and bolted out of here. im set up on a rub line so is my chances of getting the buck thats using it ruined because I don't know if he was locked up with the does. They didn't smell me they saw me which may help.

I would stay and hunt and not worry about it. There is always a chance of jumping deer as you go into a spot. Bucks should be out cruising or another doe could come through at anytime with a buck in tow. This is the one time of year that an old buck isn't as smart as normal. Stay after them! Good luck!

I had to paddle through a mile of swamp so I feel im pretty far from the hunting pressure. I just saw a lone fawn

One way to look at it is there's a possibility that one of the does you jumped may have been close to entering estrus. Even if not, bucks will be cruising looking for does. If they were in your immediate area there's a chance that later on after setting up you may have a buck come passing through checking out any doe trails he may come across.

Your 100 percent right, an hour later a spike came through. I don't think he was making these big rubs and scrapes
