I went hunting this morning and saw 0. I have not seen a decent buck on stand all year, but have seen lots of deer.
Driving home on I-24 just before the M'boro exit (#78) and I look over behind the chain link fence and there is a buck peeing on his hind legs. He looks up at the highway and I about wrecked. This deer was either a main frame 8 or 10 pt and every tine was split in some way on both sides (I couldn't tell if the brows were split). By my count even if the brows were not split and assuming all splits were countable points, that would make him a 14-16 pt buck depending on whether he was a mainframe 8 or 10.
Nice buck for sure. Third big deer I've seen just driving down the road.
