Interesting. Any ideas? Someone else put out more than you did nearby? Or lots of coyote tracks nearby? Gotta be a reason.

Could be a number of reasons. Yotes moving through? Seem to be bumping the deer around here, having 2-3 days after we get pics of yotes that there will be no deer. Food sources like corn or beans could also be drawing them.
 
It could be some acorns falling also. My persimmons tree has been dropping for over a week now. This happens to me every year but usually its about the first week of September. Good luck.
 
I have the same problem in Maury county on two different farms. Was getting lots of pics of alot of different deer now only the same single does. I've checked all of the water sources their is none dead so I am lost as to what has happened.

Changing food sources, plus some bucks range shift about this time. I notice every year, I will get pictures of certain bucks up until about Aug. 15 and then poof they disappear. then they come back at the end of Oct.

I've seen the same. I look forward to mid October each year to see the current crop of resident bucks with fully hardened antlers.
 
How often are you going in to check your camera? If your in there all the time then that could be another reason.
 
It has to do with the sudden spike in testosterone they get this time of year. This causes antlers to harden, bodies to gain muscle and weight, and the sex drive slowly begins to increase. It is the VERY beginning stages of the "rut". A range shift is the norm at this time of year. It's very difficult to target a buck in the summer and actually get a Crack at him in the same area in early october... just the way it is. Your more likely to kill a buck that isn't on your place now and "range shifts" there in pre rut...just my .02

I have one cam I went 3 weeks without checking an got the same doe with 30 pics of her. I know bucks are moving around now but does have in the past tended to hang around until it got cool at the mineral licks. Their is very little acorns starting to fall right now an I have had the low numbers for the last month or so.
 
Yes, same thing happens every year, sometimes twice.

Once when heat is rough and again just before the rut.
