I will doing this in a dehydrator or oven. I have only fixed jerky once and it wasn't that good. I like mine a little sweet or spicy, anybody got a good recipe ?

20 OZ. Dr. Pepper (not diet)...acts as tenderizer
bottle of Dale's reduced sodium seasoning
splash of Texas pete
splash of Woshester

place strips in a large bowl overnight

dehydrator the next day
you can add some cracked pepper or other seasonings to the strips at this time if you want them hotter
