few years back, i was hunting in VA on NF land and could hear a helicopter and some crazy noise across the valley. Turned out to be one of these. It was wild watching through the binos as it would kick and swing around and pull the copter in differnt directions as it was cutting the high voltage line. It would take some big stones to fly with that thing attached and cutting trees below you. took them about 2 hours to do both sides along a 5 mile stretch.

Doubt it. The power companies pretty much have carte blanche to clear anything near their power lines, whether landowners agree or not. Unless he can prove the pilot knew he was there and attacked him with malice, the law is on the side of the power company and its employees/agents.

Your probably correct but dang some kind of notice would be GREAT. How do you explain that one to the cross bow company when you send it in for repair. Lol
