Great morning. I saw more does than i could count and four small bucks. Its heating up again boys!

Finally getting some good weather again.

I didn't have your kind of morning, but I did see 2 small bucks chasing a doe in a figure-8 pattern at the end of an overgrown field. That's the only chasing I've seen this year so far, although i haven't been hunting nearly as many hours as some.

Seems Mid Tn hunters saw deer, but West and East TN hunters did not see many, based on the reports on here...

saw 2 does and 2 spikes and a half rack. had 3 points on one side the other was broken a half inch off his head. this is the second buck i have seen on this property with a broken rack.

Yep. Hunted my best stand location and didn't see a thing. Totally baffled.

Didn't see anything along a rub/scrape line. But, he scrapes were freshened up after the rain.

I been seeing a lot deer in fields in T county and shelby county driving to work as well as home from work. Come on weekend!

Stayed on stand all day hunting woods and a cutover and saw nothing but a button.

I saw 14 does, 8 fawns, and 4 bucks. One of the bucks might have been a shooter but he was too far and moving too fast to get a good look. One of the 4 bucks was cruising and 3 were chasing does. All the does were with fawns and none of them alone. All movement was prior to 9 AM. I found a dozen fresh scrapes. Checked a camera and had a 125" 8 pointer mounting a doe in front of the camera but it was at night and the picture is too dark to print. Back in the saddle in a couple of hours...

Went yesterday eve for a couple of hours. Saw 3 does right at dark. A good evening for East Tn huntin in the mtns for me.

Deer were plentiful early mornings and late afternoons in Bedford county the first 10 days of the hunt. Over the past week I have not seen a deer in the usual fields. They have gone to the heavy woods and are moving at night.
Only saw a coyote yesterday.
