Anyone have much experience using decoys? How do bucks vs does react? How do you strategically set up? I've got got a boss buck I've had forever trying to decide when/if to use it?
Used it in Indiana bow hunting, in 1 day had 7 different bucks come to it, had big buck come to in Tennessee also, love using them! Need to use them in open places, at a 45 angle to you as bucks will confront decoy in face
I like using a deke and do part of the season. I've never had any luck using it as a doe and most of the does encountered spooked from it. It will draw bucks in. They either come in out of curiosity or to display dominance. At the very least it may stop them long enough for a shot. I set them up within 50 yards of me and usually quartering towards me. Bucks will approach them head on.
