Deer cover scent, Nose Jammer.

I have become a strong believer in this cover sent. The last two weekends have proved it to me that it really does work, I think lol.

I have had bucks come in and eat up wind of me, down wind of me under me, to side of me lay down behind me up wind. Been at 5 yards

I have had an 8pt twice come in two Saturday's in a row and I just did not place stand correctly. That has been fixed lol.

This past Friday had the 8 pt and 3 pt and 6 pt and doe's. Not once ever blown at. I have never been a scent person really. Play the wind mainly. Either this is working or I am being real lucky because I am not a great hunter. Ok hunter but not great.

This past Friday was my best bow kill so far. It was a heart breaker though. I was unable to recover deer that day. I found the deer Saturday but lost the meat.

I never heard a deer sneeze until I started using it last year. There's definitely something to it because they got a nose full of my boot prints and didn't seem to mind.

I havnt used nose jammer.But i do use vanilla.and it also seems to work.I also make my own cedar cover scent by boiling bunch of cedar branch's outside in an old pot just for that.I make a gallon and its more than enough for all season.And i make my own scent killer using peroxide distilled water and baking soda.I'v had success with that whole set up.So no need to change it up.I have bucks and doe's downwind many time's.But of course i always try my best to hunt the wind correctly.

I'm a believer in it. I started using it last year when a friend told me about it. I have never been able to hunt in the bottom of a hollow I have without being busted because of the thermals. Started using it and had deer all around me. He told me you will be p****d at me when you first spray it then you will thank me. He was right.

I tried it last year because of people on here. When I sprayed it on me I thought "what the" but used it every time since...

Whatever you want to do. I spray the bottom of my boots, before walking in. I spray the tree i am climbing and I do spray ,my clothes with it in early bow when I am sweating.

i've used vanilla early season and no luck. I saw online good and bad results with this product. My concern is if you spray your clothes/gear it will be stuck on the gear if it doesn't work, then you need to rewash everything again.

I've had it work on younger deer and then not work as well on more mature deer.

Yes and I spray my clothes, boots, hat pack and stand seat and the wrap around blind on it.

I will put it on my boot soles but do not put it on my clothing. Only the tree or the vegetation around where I'm hunting. I'm not into fad stuff but believe it has an effect.

So I bought some. Last 2 days I've used it. It seems to put the deer more on alert constantly smelling the air as looking in my neck of the woods with 2 does actually running away. Maybe less is more ?? I'll try it again. If it has the same effect I'm done with it.

First year I've used the stuff..

Tuesday eve I got to put it though a good test. I sprayed it all around the limbs around my tree stand. And on my boots walking in.

I had a doe come out, I made up my mind I would let her walk,even though I was on public land in east TN I would have been very happy with her. Still weekday afternoon having to work early in morning I made up my mind she was gonna make in to muzzy atleast.

So she walks past my tree at 10 yards, turns around walks back past me at 10 yards. A few minutes later 4 of her doe friends show up....they walk around all sides of me got so close i could have spit on atleast two of them smelling the limbs I had sprayed never smelled me at all.

Also I had worked that day rushed home used 0 scent killer, threw on some camo, and probaby smelled a little lol

I too have had some hunts, even some this yr, where I had deer all around me and even directly down wind that never smelled me! Had them bed under me, smell my steps on the tree, follow my trail, etc, never spooked. I dont use anything other than scent reduction products however.
All that said I have been smelled from 150 yards away, had deer bump my trail and turn inside out immediately, etc. Every situation is different, if they get a nose full of human scent your screwed, period! No such thing as a cover scent when deer can discern multiple odors at once!

I'm glad it's working for some folks, but I'll stick to trying to be as scentless as possible, and quiet as well, ie no rattling or grunt calls, at least for the first 2-4 hrs of each hunt. I've just been more successful that way where I hunt.
