1Pound ground deer.2 cans Chilli beans {the sauce kind} 1 can of Rotel tomato,s 1can of tomato soup. 1 large onion. 1sm..can of tomato sauce. 1teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon of chilli powder. Brown meat with onion. add the rest ingrediances let simmer. For a twist pour into cassourl dish cover with cheeder cheese, and cornbread batter, bake 30min. 350.
 
I just use the French's Chili-O mix and substitute venison for beef. I brown some garlic and then the venison and throw it in a crock pot. Too easy and I won second place at a super bowl chili cookoff last year, and nobody knew it was venison!

They've changed the name of that mix to Chili Pronto for some reason. Same stuff, different label.
 
Really? I made some up Thursday night with Chili-O. I always keep a bunch of that around. I actually got talked into mixing some sausage into the venison as well (without sage). I really didn't like it as much, but still good on a cool night. I will look for "Pronto" name.

i make a huge pot of deer chili every year for opening day of gun season! After reading this i might have to go home and tune up the recipe... i put a pinch of cayene in mine
