And on my carrot tops this time. The kicker- the carrots are growing up through 6" tall lush crimson clover, and I still have green beans growing (maybe not after tonight though. I never know they'd eat carrots. And it wasn't just 1 or 2, they nipped a pile of them.
BTW, if you dont 'have your cover crops down, now may be the last best chance. With the rain that just came through, more seasonal temps, and maybe more coming next week, I'd be slinging seed. My wheat and turnips planted 3 weeks ago are up and ready to jump.
