Sat was a long but successful day.
Started off hunting a lil farm in sumner county, I could only hunt until 8. Well you guessed it at 759 had to groups of does come in about 20 give or take 4
Well I figured it i was going to take one might as well take a small one
50 yd neck shot on a sweet n tender doe 265 ftx 1030 fps all you hear was a thud .. and flop
Well then I had to get her to the cooler and head out west to CWD land
I met up with bowhunterfanatic (chase) at subway for lunch and of course I was paying we got to the check out and he had a coupon. Talk about a dang good host lol
We had a great lunch and great conversation about hunting and such
We then headed off to the hunting spot
For the first time ever i climbed the same tree as a hunting buddy. it was a v tree chase was on one side i was on the other.
I will say this i rather enjoyed it . about 4 30 3 does fed in to the plot about 197 yds the 7 saum dropped her like a sack of taters
it was a great hunt we got her back skinned her and deboned her
then the long drive back
It was truly a great day of hunting Chase is a great fella I certainly enjoyed his hospitality
