My ex co-worker Mike and I blew into paris thrusday night and met up with Kentucky Lake Buck (Jeremy) and his wife Jill for a steak dinner. Got a lil intel on big sandy and got a game plan
friday morn everything went smooth went in at first light picked a spot i thought was ok till deer started blowing not sure if it was me or other hunters saw 4 does no shot and then a lil later a 120-140 ish wide wide buck then another lone deer. Mike saw 2 does no shot we were in some thick stuff.
friday eve we went back to same spot made an adjustment on stand location 621 this young doe (she had milk and a fawn) came in 35 yds bam flop done.
easy drag to boat .
had a lil issue with my rifle and like a dummy i did not bring a back up. Well instead of making the 3 hour or so round trip to my cooler we called jeremy who let me borrow his rem 700 and refered us to a fella with a cooler in paris ...... life saving

sunday huddle house for breakfast
Jeremy and jill are some of the best people ever
especially the fact they run a guide service, loan a rifle program and referral to a friend with a cooler

got out introduce my self so did mike shook the old mans hand the we grabbed the doe out of the truck he looked at us and said "what are yall gonna do with that?" I said put it in your cooler he said i dont have a cooler
he said i though yall were the fellas coming out to night fish at his pond he said he was wondering what we were gonna do with the boat as well. boy we had a big laugh the people in paris are awesome
