After being skunked on my first 4 hunts finally found a hot persimmon tree on some public land that was loaded with sign. Arrowed this 125 pounder at 2 yards under my tree. She ran about 50 yards and went down. First ever September deer! Backstraps on the grill tonight. Aging the rest of the meat. Good luck on your 2021 seasons yall.

Congrats! How are you liking the dryad?
It's pretty dang comfortable. Dane, the guy who makes them is a local Cookeville guy and let me try them out before buying it. Unlike other saddles it's infinitely adjustable so sometimes I have it kind of folded up so it fits like a normal saddle but other times, especially early in the morning when I set up and then have an hour to wait, I'll fold the whole thing out and it supports my back and head and just lean back and take a quick nap. Also it weighs under a pound so pretty awesome for mobile hunters. I'm in a deer hunting contest on saddlehunter.com and that's why the Dryad is in the pic. Only kills from a saddle can be submitted.
