Ok so I am thinking about making some different style decoy weights.
I have some plastic "trays" that I got from work that were being thrown away.
They remind me alot of the flats that flowers come in.
Basically they are 12 individual pockets that are about 3 inches square and about 2 inches deep.
I was thinking about pouring them about an inch deep in concrete and then inserting my wire loop to attach the string to.
I was thinking insert the loop into the center of the square.
Then wrap my extra line around it and drop it in with the decoy attached.
Kinda like an "H" weight but will be solid.
I am wondering, if the water did come up would it flip over and over and release more string just like the "H" weights do?
I guess if I kept the extra wraps on one side or the other of the loop it should unwind ok without getting tangled up, right?
