Ok so the blind we got at Gooch this year there is a possibility, going by the past years, that we will have the chance to work some geese.

Our spread will be a mix of black decoys, mallards, woodies, pintail etc.

How would you suggest incorporating a couple dozen goose decoys into our spread that just in case we do get some geese, that they MIGHT happen to look our way?

I am speaking in terms of placement of the goose decoys.

Single line, all together, scattered around, off to one side or the other ????

We usually have a family group of 4-6 off on one side. I think this year we'll probably have 2 groups like that since I have a few this year that we didn't have last year.

If you know the direction the geese are more than likely going to come from, set the decoys so the geese won't have to fly over the duck decoys. For what ever reason geese will hang back and set down outside the spread if they have to fly over duck decoys real low.
