Got a good one going. Deboned a deer shoulder, put flower, pepper, onion powder, and garlic in a boal and dredged the roast
in it.
Put a cast iron dutch open on stove and put peanut oil in it and put roast in and browned the roast. Added a package of french onion soup and browned it.
Added a chopped up onion and chicken stock and let cook.
Checked it for taste and everything was fine. Transfered everything to a crock pot and added more stock and letting cook.
May or may not add vegies, it is real good as it is now.
