Got my archery cow tag!!! It can actually happen!! Statistics showed that 1 in 66 non-res got drawn for archery cow tag.
 
Thanks!!! I deer/turkey hunt Bell, Harlan, Leslie Co. all the time. Could have killed dozens of Elk over the last few years if I had a tag!!
 
No luck here either. I was planning on either hiring an elk guide and burning my 4 days of vacation trying to kill one in Kentucky (if picked), or put that money towards a deer lease.

I'm joining my first deer lease :)
 
great info, thanks! You never know about those Elk. some days they walk down the middle of the road without a care in the world. Other days you never see one...
