Foggy morning here on Norris. Heard a couple of gun shots at 4 and again at 5:30, weird. I got a flock of turkeys that just hit the ground to my right about 100 yrds, I'm sure they will work thier way to me. I heard a deer blow this morning shortly after the shots, wonder if I have a visitor. Dang, these turkeys make a lot of racket.
 
I hunted Norris all week. I kept hearing gun shots throughout the week too. Some were right at daybreak. Other's tem minutes before dark. Also. Ran across 3 colon feed buckets. I thought you could not hunt there unless touchpad a permit. I went from seeing a ton of deer. To nothing th last four days.
 
i saw q few last saturday, and sunday a guy had followed some glow tacks straight to my buddies tree, even flashed him off
 
i'm thinkinmg the 4am shot may have been Coon Hunters, the 5:30 I have no clue. There were some guys at the boat ramp, may have been them. Anywho, did'nt see a soul all weekend., made friends with a hammock for about 3 hours. saw one little fawn who apperantly didn't speak English, because I told him to go get his daddy but he just looked at me.
