Hadda morning where everything went wrong. But, I'm settled in. Not as windy yet as they are calling for. I'm hunting a small piece of public land today. Hoping to see something today. Good luck to everyone. Keep us updated on day #2.
 
Pretty windy here and gambling a bit with my stand choice. Seen 4 deer so far. Looks like one of our cell cam may have got one of the bucks I am after by the stand I sat yesterday.
 
I am. Shot a doe at 7. Then turned around at 715 and somehow shot way low on a nice mature buck. White hair and 1 speck. He didn't act phased. Just so happen I only had 2 loads. So now gotta wait til academy or Dunhams opens. Then try and slip back in here
 
I'm in ky, but it's blowing wild on top of this hill. My little partner doesn't seem too phased. Super slow, bunch of guys hunting today. I've heard 1 shot and I'm on the edge of Peabody

I am sitting in a blind until the wind gets to howling. No signs of anything moving yet. Had some does on camera about 2:00 am, but nothing else.
 
I'm on private property in Anderson. Hunted yesterday and had a doe come by while I had my hands full of coffee. Buddy got a buck this morning.
 
It's supposedly blowing 12mph….I'm watching the tree tops go back in forth out the window calling BS
 
I'm in an old shack we built years ago. Going to try to ride it out because I know I won't be able to handle freezing temps next couple of days.
 
I am still at seen 10 doe no bucks and the wind came in about 12noon and is 15mph plus. Gonna leave at dark. I will try again Tuesday got therapy on Monday
 
Got a hot doe in here and have seen a ton of bucks, been taking pics etc., haven't seen one I'd shoot but I just keep getting the feeling that I don't want to fool with a dead deer. That might change if a monster walks by.
