Hadn't been able to fish like I want last few years and every since the 2010 flood, I've been skunked more times than not.
Get up 4AM yesterday and head to Davis Corner. Get to my spot and it starts to sprinkle. I anchor under some overhang and pull out a 4 lber. Bottom drops out and I'm heading for a bridge and a game warden comes over to inspect my livewell and so forth, I wasn't keeping anything so we chatted quickly and I parked under the bridge with a number of other boats.
After it gets back down to a drizzle in about 2 hrs, I go back. Managed to pull out 7 in that 3-4lb range. Left about noon.
I haven't had that good of a day in years. I was THIS close to selling my boat.

Glad you didn't get rid of your boat! Just think of how many of those good days you could have, CONGRATS!
you better stay out of my honey hole. BTW-Don't overlook the bank to the right of the duck blind. It is not too shallow. It just looks like it is.
