You cost me 12 fillets today.

Broke out the fly rod and caught this little guy and one or two more small ones and then 6 big bull bream.
Just didn't feel right keeping them with a fly rod in my hand so I threw them back.

NEVER let a fly rod keep you from taking fish home, unless it is by your wishes or what the regs require.

I bet that was fun!

Had to let them run a couple different times.

Bream on a flyrod is a good time. Most times, they put up a good fight.

I just use 4-lb flurocarbon (or mono, if using dry flies) for leader material.

If you want to have a really big time, bring your fly rod to a spot where you are feeding catfish with floating fish food. I've chased fish down the bank with nothing but the knot around my spool left. Pretty exciting
