Doe was supposed to be directly upwind. But wind was dead calm and probably had the place covered in my smell. She stomped a few times, I was waiting to draw back, then she ran off with another deer straight away from me and the rest of the herd ran off to my right. Never blew, just stomped and ran off. I'd say 7 or 8 deer total, coming to eat the chinkapins... It's still early, maybe some come back. And it figures the breeze starts blowing 5 minutes later.

Wind is really rough here this morning. I am sure it is hurting deer movement.
