Dale Hollow Fish Kill

I'm not much of a reservoir guy, but my buddy down the street is a Dale Hollow fanatic. He told me there was a significant fish kill caused by lack of oxygen (don't know when), and it killed off a bunch of the smallmouth population. He said they (whoever they is) estimated six years to recover. He said TWRA was aware of it. This could be old news, but I was just wondering if anybody else had heard about it.
