Went on a week long trip to dale hollow last week with a friend I met here on Tndeer and a few others.... well here I finally got the pics uploaded. Not much to show in the fish department, the fishing was slower than anyone had seen it before. but there were still a few caught. The walleye were the best eating but I didn't manage to catch any myself. Even the smallmouth I caught were small, but at least there were a few fish biting.
First fish after arriving at camp... from the bank on a live shiner
The fleet of four aluminum boats....
Trolling....
Small flathead
The cove next to camp
Another flathead
Trolling 40-50 ft deep for a couple of these
Back in the Stoneroller......
Saving battery power.... lol
Just for Ruger.....
Another long nosed specimen
Caught topwater early in the A.M.
Not sure what I caught this on
Well at least I found one thing that was consistently biting :D
15 1/4 inch black crappie, caught trolling crankbaits
This frog visited camp on the last night.... I caught it out from under my boat and later released it
Towed back to the marina with all the gear....
I hopefully will go on the next trip sometime in October and hope for some better fishing too. But I can't complain, it was a very nice vacation...
Thanks again eyeseeker for inviting me on the trip. Definitely worth while even with slow fishing.
