I used one of these today to clear some shooting lanes in an area that has not been bush hogged for about 6 years. My son in law cut the big stuff down with a chain saw and I came behind him with the D.R. and it worked great. I was impressed with how easy it was to handle.

For many years we cut all 5 acres of our food plots with a DR walk-behind. Amazing machines, but cutting large areas will wear you out!

No they are self propelled 4 forward speeds and reverse. This one has a 15 horse engine with electric start.

Are they self propelled or do you have to push them ?
It's more like they "pull YOU" around. :D
Being behind one of these is somewhat akin to operating a large walk-behind garden roto-tiller. It's a bit of work keeping them going straight, especially on uneven ground.

DR walk-behind mowers are amazing little tools. But trying to mow large areas (like food plots) will wear you out!
