Came up to one of my cams today to find it ripped half off the tree. The metal mounting brackets I use were bent over and one of the 2.5 inch screws I use to mount into the tree with was totally pulled out of the tree! Been getting pics of this bear so I figured thats what it was. At least the P41, SE120 build is OK, just have to redo my mounts. This bear is really starting to tick me off, wish we could get a season. Look slike it stood on its hind legs and put all of its weight on the cam.

Don't know what it is with bears & camera's, but have good friend in FL that could not keep a camera on a tree last fall due to the bears destroying them...

Just this past weekend in Fentress i had a bear mess with two of my cams. last year it completely took and carried off one of mine. pepper might do it but im haveing to buy a bunch of bear safes for all of my cams this year.
Plus he climbed my brand new two man ladder from last fall and Maul and Destroy the seat cushion and shredded the blind i had hanging on the shooting rail! i really need this thing outta hear.

I guess they're just curious. I had a cam knocked down by a bear a couple years back right here at the house and he followed it down the ridge, knocking it around (it was taking pics the whole time).

We had this little guy visit last night. Walked right up to the door. We haven't had any bear damage, but we're real careful not to leave stuff out since I left a door a truck door open and one went in after my wife's bag of Bugles.
