I ordered one locally. It should be here this week. Thinking about Vortex, and Nikon. I have both on my deer rifles. I bought my first Vortex last year, and really like their scopes.

I'm looking at the 452 or 455 on Buds website. Can't decide which way to go with. Any particular reason you chose the 452 over the 455?

I'll probably order a Vortex for mine as well. I'm slowly switching all my rifles over to Vortex as I can afford it. Nikon is dead to me.

452 has a long history of being the best bolt action .22. The 455 will definitely get the job done, but I like having a gun that is a proven winner.

I bought this scope to put on the one that I'm having threaded for my Dead Air Mask suppressor. Midway had them on sale when I got it and it was only $229 then. If this gun shoots half as well as my other 452, it will be a quiet squirrel harbinger of death.

Yeah, got it Thursday, put an old Simmons on it and shot old ammo, its shooting 3/4 in. groups at 50 yds. Have no doubt it'll shoot clover leafs when I get a good Vortex or Nikon on it, and start shooing good ammo thru it. I love this rifle.

I've not had the opportunity to pick up a CZ yet, since I spent my weekend in the hospital. But I did find a good deal on a Vortex 2-7x32 rimfire scope for $109.99. It's marked as a demo but I've bought 2 previous Vortex demos from these same people and they both arrived new in the box. I went ahead and ordered the scope. Hopefully I can get to Buds by the end of the week and pick up my first CZ.
