Bought this 452 several years back been my go to squirrel gun, pulled the scope off last year old eyes need a little thicker crosshair. One of the most accurate sporter weight squirrel rifle's I have ever owned and I have owned a bunch. I own the newer 457 mine just doesn't seem to be as accurate as my old 452.

I have a Brno Model 4 made in 1957 there's no way I'd take a grand for
I traded for a Brno Model 4 in 1975 at a gun show and I have kicked my azz several times for getting rid of it. You got a good there mr. bigg

Crazy isn't it. Now you have companies that hardly anyone has heard of popping up and pricing rifles in the top dog price ranges. People must be buying them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What companies you referring to?

I have all the reciever sights ,the tangent sights and the original Brno scope mounts with a Lyman 20x scope. It has a John Langley 2 once trigger also.

Worth every penny, I'd say!

TNRifleman came over this morning to visit me 'post-op' and provided me with some of his mobile gun-smithing services....we installed a FF3 and Sumtoy mount on a new turkey gun and an M-Carbo Spring kit on my 455. The stock trigger on the 455 broke at about 3.75 pounds and with the new spring we actually adjusted it up in weight to a crisp 2.5 pounds. All the CZ 22 rifles (452, 455 and 457) are just well designed and incredibly accurate.

yeah I've been drooling over one for awhile... I'm slowly thinning out some stuff to buy one... and other rifles I don't have. would really like a tikka stainless hunter in 6.5x55 for some reason. and maybe a new CZ 600 American in 243. older I get the more I just want to shoot rimfire and varmint caliber.

I am a huge CZ fan, but do some research on that 600 before you buy. It may be fine, but it has an aluminum receiver....I just can't get passed that myself. It was also recalled...don't remember why. Someone had them really cheap not long ago...can't remember who. Just do some research first...

right... I think all the negativity was on the cz alpha and you're correct, they had a recall on them. the cz 600 American is pretty new, haven't heard anything so far, but maybe they've got any problems worked out with this model. I'm still on the fence about getting one of the new stevens 334s in 243. I've handled one and they look great, accuracy reviews have been great too... trigger I didn't find to be as terrible as what was reported, but if CZ has worked out the kinks I'd take it over the stevens.... IF...
