I know alot of you guys are CZ fans. Im looking for a new squirrel rig. I really like the looks of the 452 Varmint and the 453 Varmint, both in .22. What are your opinions?
 
the varmint bbl will do nothing on a squirrel rifle to help anything,,get the standard weight,,I would try and get a 452 now while you can before the 455 becomes standard

my next one will be either a 452 Lux or a full stock,,
 
If I were looking for a 22 bolt gun, the CZ would be at the top of the list. A Kimber would be nice, but they are over twice as much.
 
Amazing guns, check out my limit from yesterday in the small game forum. But why the varmint, like big said, no advantage. Just extra weight.
 
the only difference I can tell between the 452 and 453 is the 453 has the set trigger and the 452 doesnt,,I think I would rather have the regular 452 trigger and have it worked to the way I like it as to fool with a set trigger
 
The trigger on the 452 is excellent and easy to adjust. Mine is set at 2.5 lbs. I also have the 527 in 223 and have killed more yotes than I count with it. Cz makes very light balanced, accurate, silky smooth rifles in an attractive package. The walnut they use is excellent

here are my favorite 2 rifles i own, and i own a bunch. these guys work for a living. both weigh 6 lbs, handle well, balance well and shoot tiny groups. cant beat a cz. cz 527 american in 223 on left and 452 american in 22 lr on right

it would cost a fortune to build a Remington 700 to those specs,,

the 550 counter sniper is very interesting also
