Congrats man. I have the American 527 in 204 and love it. What do you think about the set trigger. Pretty awesome huh?

Luckily, a friend of mine is somewhat of a collector of hard to find long rifles and S&W revolvers (among several other guns). I spotted this rifle in his collection 4 years ago and had been thinking on it ever since then. He made me a deal I couldn't pass up on the rifle and a vxIII 3.5x10x40.

what bullet did you try? I bet it shot good which ever bullet you chose.

Thats a very nice looking rifle. The CZ 527s are super little rifles. I have a Varmint/synthetic model in .223 myself. I bought it used at a good price and don't carry it as much as my Stevens 200 because it is a little heavy for a walk about rifle. They are shooters. Plateau Hunter
