I need another handgun,,and was looking at factory CZ scope rings on the CZ-USA website and ran across this 9mm handgun,,I have never seen one in person but it resembles the Browning High Power a little and looks like it would be a good carry gun with the right holster,,

has anybody shot one,is the first shot double action trigger useable or do you just carry it cocked and locked like a 1911,,

any advice or experience with this weapon would help

My Dad had one for a short while. It shot very well, as most CZs do. It is more like a Sig platform, double action on first shot, then decock to holster. The ONLY thing I did not like about it, and mind you I started out with Sigs, is the deckocker on the CZ is backwards from the Sig. Instead of pushing it forward and down, which is the same basic motion of the 1911 safety, you have to push the CZ back twords you and down. Not a big deal if you train with it or if its the only decocker gun in your arsenal, but haveing and shooting both, I never got used to it. He ended up selling his and got a S&W Shield. He likes it better. Now a CZ75B, is perfection in motion IMO for a full sized 9mm defensive pistol. Especially if you are used to a 1911.
