Very nice! How does Lilja recommend cleaning their rimfire barrels?

IDK,but all I do is run 2-3 wet patches of Kroil and then dry patches until they come out clean,,

got some Eley Match and Midas+ to try also but I really like the RWS ammo as it doesnt fall apart in cold or go crazy in heat,,I get better groups from Midas but shooting for score I think the RWS will average out better scores,,

Dang!...there's a couple in the nine ring.

only one,I didnt get my score plug out but it would be close, first 50 yard target I have shot in a couple months and I am still trying to get used to the heavy 14 ounce trigger,,

I think when it gets broke in that it will average less than .250 at 50 yards

Just jesting mr.big....on second look that "nine" does appear to be touching the ten ring. Very good shooting.

I know man,,I need to get the stuff to start shooting my newest old muzzle loader,,TC Hawken from the late 80`s in very nice shape,,been thinking about a tang mounted sight and make some smoke,,

The reason I asked about cleaning is that Volquartsen recommends(or did) never to use a cleaning rod in their barrels. They suggest just using a pull through patch on monofilament which is what I have done for the 20 years it has been on my 10-22. In fact I use that method on most my rifles unless the bore on an old rifle is very dirty or rough. I use a 2:1 mixture of shooters choice and Kroil as my basic cleaning solution.
