With the latest concerns on CWD. Where can you get your deer tested outside the hotzone. I see online that several states have mail in CWD test kits and there is a couple of private companies that offer this. Im not concerned right now the farms I hunt aren't in the hotzone. Just curious to see what others have learned about testing options.

I called the TWRA office and Morristown last week. I asked them if there was anywhere we could get our deer tested. I was told there are no options in East Tennessee. I explained I had noticed there was testing back in November at certain locations in East Tennessee. The response was there would not be an option to get deer tested until a positive case was found in this region.
I was hoping for an easy way to get my deer tested. After reading and talking to folks in other states that have delt with CWD for years, getting a deer tested after harvest is quite routine. I assume the state is continuing to take a random sample of deer across the state as they have done is years past.

Million dollar business oppurtunity for a mail in cost effective hunter self testing kit.
