I have a first generation wolf for my wife. I switched it over to the BH209 last year and it shot amazing. I used 80 measured grains with a 245 grain power belt and Federal 209A primers. It never failed to fire. I know they say to swap breech plugs but I ain't able to find one. Hers is not the QR style. What could possibly happen by not switching? I don't want her to get hurt shooting it.

The plug on the left is the bh plug. Plug on right is plug that comes standard. Also. The plug shown is the qrbp for optimas and whatever else they fit. But I'm not sure it fits wolfs. It will not fit the pre qrbp

They fit any current CVA rifle that uses the QRBP plug, including the Wolf, with the exception of the Apex. It has it's own version.

Well I guess I should continue to use it the way it is. I may hunt for a drill bit to keep the flash hole cleaned with. I normally soak it in solvent and use pipe cleaners.
