I just got a new one and was wondering what bullet-powder combo shoots good. I think i might switch from hornadys to powerbelts, are they really easier to load?

Mine likes 2 50 gr. Triple 7 pellets and a 250 gr. TC Shockwave.

i have a optima pro & any powerbelt 245-295 loads & shoots great with 2 777 max pellets,had a passthru yesterday @ 100yards

100 grains 777 and 250 grain hornady SST's work well in mine

They say it's different for every gun. But myself and 2 friends have the same optima, and we all shoot 2 pellets of 777 and a 295gr powerbuilt, and all 3 shoot equally great. Foul your barrel after cleaning. First shot is just a tad high....then 2 thru 5 is excellent group

90gr blackhorn209, cci 209m primers and 295gr powerbelts shoot awesome.

100gr blackhorn209, cci 209m and either the 250 or 300gr thors do awesome as well.

how do you foul the barrel?

My son and I both have excellent results with Hornady. He shoots 240 gr XTP and 110 gr 777 pellets (two 30s and a 50) and I shoot 300 gr XTP MAG with 100 gr 777 loose.

I use 100 gr 777 powder and 300 gr sst. I don't foul mine and the first three shots are touching at 100 yds and 1 inch high.
I always clean it after three shoots but it will shoot more with out changing.

100 grains of IMR White Hot Pellets and a 250 grain Shockwave 3 bullets will cloverleaf if not closer at 100 yards.

how do you foul the barrel?

shoot off a primer cap to foul the barrel before loading

i use 100 grain loose pyrodex powder, 295 aero tip power belt, had very good luck with that combo

Wet lube patch then dry patch and then fire two caps off......then load.
