been lurking around and found these and its really got my attention. cheaper then dirt has them for $230 but says they cant ship them to Tn? cabelas is $280 and for what I can tell they will ship? anyway does anyone have one of these if so how do you like? pros cons? and would it be legal to pay for it on a card with a Tn address and shipped to a friends in Ga? Ive never bought a gun online but if I do order one Id like to make it as simple as possible.

Don't think muzzleloaders should have the same regulations, cause they don't require FFL. Even a pistol mzl shouldn't matter to Federal law. If company policy don't let them ship to TN, nothing illegal about sending to GA. I'm not 100%, but I probably read it somehere.

I actually looked at getting one of those. Its just company policy with Cheaperthandirt to not ship to TN. They got scared about a law made a few years ago. Ill send you the link if I can find it. Anyways, look at LGS online they had them for 230 and will ship to tn. If not try gunbroker they use to have some on there as well. Everything I have read points to a much better gun than the higher priced vortek MZ pistol. They can hand 100gr loads vs the 70gr from vortek. I'm getting into hunting handguns (savage strikers/contenders etc) so let me know if you get one. I would love to see a good range report on these.

Would love to find a striker around here, I've never hunted with pistol but would like to try something different and the cva looks. Pretty good and won't break the bank

I have one in .243. Most accurate gun I have ever owned. Will easily put five shots in 1/2 inch at 100 yards. You can find them on Gunbroker but the prices are getting higher and higher.

Good video by the way.

I bought a muzzleloader on The Sportsman's Guide online and paid with my card with TN address and had it shipped to a guy in Kentucky without any problems.
