I posted on here a couple of days ago about the BH209 powder in my Knight MK 85 with a nipple instead of a 209 primer and have since decided to retire the MK 85 and buy a new gun. I am leaning to the CVA Optima at the present time and I was wanting some feedback on this gun from you guys. I am not set in stone on purchasing the CVA, so I am open to any suggestions you may put up. I would like to hear positive and negative feedback as well on your thoughts. Thanks guys.

I bought one about 2 weeks ago. I like it. Downfall is if you want to shoot bh209 they recommend getting a new breech plug for it. My gun didn't notice any difference between the 2. But I got it anyway. Had I known this before hand I would have bought mine at a different place than where I did. What I do like about it is it's easier to clean than the knight I had before.

I have a knight 85 and upgraded to an optima a few years back. I really like the optima and with the speed breech cleaning is a breeze compared to the knight. The only thing that took me a while to figure out was the ram rod will unscrew at the end and extend a couple more inches to get all the way to the breech when swabbing or cleaning.

I ordered 2 209 breech plugs on line on a Thurs night and they arrived on a Monday. $22.95 each.

Who did you place the order with? If I go with the CVA, I will be shooting BH through it, so I will need to order the other breech plug. Thanks for the info.
