Mine shoots like crap. I shoot 245 gr powerbelt aero tip, 2 imr white hots(100gr) and triple seven primers. I usually shoot 3-5 shots from a lead sled between cleaning. I group around 6-8" at 100yds. Do you have to break in the stainless/nickel barrels? I havent tried thoroughly cleaning between shots but am willing to try anything to make it shoot better. Thanks for the help!

I use Hornady FPB's and i follow their instructions of one wet patch followed by two dry patches then two fired caps for the first shot.....because the bullet goes down the barrel a little tight i try to dry or wet swab before the next shot but if not i do that for three only before cleaning at least with a patch becasue i have found that my accura v~2 seems to perform better that way. I do believe the two 50 grn pellets is sufficient to get the job done. i use two 777 pell. with 777 primers and the fpb's.......i like the big heavy bullets.

Oh i forgot to add i killed my first deer with it (my first ever whitetail buck(spike)) yesterday morning. It took 3 shots though. First shot was around 120yds i hit above the back hip??? I had to climb out of my stand and follow him cause i new it wasnt a kill shot. Second shot from 35yds was a clean miss??? At this point the spike has gone 100 yds or so on front legs only. Third shot from
55yds was lung and liver. Im not that bad of a shot. Please help me shrink my groups so i can make clean one shot kills.

a 295 will probaly group better,100g of powder is normaly pretty good ,im useing 777 with 245g & the 295g having killed the most deer with.

probably your rifle doesn't like that bullet. my knight t-bolt shoots awesome with TC Shockwaves and Barnes...but throws powerbelts all over the countryside

My Optima will not shoot powerbelts worth a dang at all. All over the target. Hornaday 240gr with sabots works quite well. 100gr 777 pellets and 777 primer. I will be checking other combinations in the off season.

Could try the 295gr powerbelts with the winchester w209 primers and clean the bore between each shot.

That or switch over to blackhorn209, cci 209m primers, 250gr powerbelt aerolite or the 250gr Thor.

I bet you anything that if you swab between shots your accuracy will improve greatly.

Looks dialed in FrontierGander. ;)

I have a Optima Pro and it likes 2 50gr pyrodex pellets and Hornady 250gr SST-ML sabots.

Don't poke fun at my reused target...I'm poor. :)

No swabbing or cleaning.
I ran a bore brush through it after the 150yd shots. It started drifting left.

The 2 bottom shots are 200yds.
The 3 shot group was 100yds.
The middle 2 shots were 50yds.
The top left 2 were 150yds.

Mine also likes the Barnes 290 gr TMZ sitting on top of 90 gr loose Pyro. Worked great again opening morning on this old buck.

I shoot 295 gr powerbelt with 100 gr loose powder, I got 3/4 -1 inch groups @100 yards with a redfield scope . Sounds like you have something loose.
