Bought this firearm for my son several years ago. We've used it during deer season and even a few coyote calling hints. It's worked really well for the investment. I've even carried it a few times, due to it's weight and compactness. It's still wearing the scope that came with it. I've wanted to upgrade it, but the scope works for what we do with it which is usually 125 yard shots and closer. I thought it deserve one upgrade before this fall. I threaded the barrel and added a brake/QD for our .30 cal can. I wanted to shoot it to see if the POI changed, well it did. Other than that man it's even more fun to shoot. I believe I'm more excited to hunt with it than my son. For those wondering, those targets to the left are at 50 yards. The clearing through the trees has some steel setup at 125 yards. That's about as far as we shoot this little firearm. For anyone on the fence about a youth rifle, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one again for starting a youngin' out.
