Would a CVA Apex 45 70 make a good smokeless conversion?

It would make a great compact .45 smokeless, I'd convert one without hesitation.
Any ideas what one like new in the box is worth? Stainless black stocks.
Luke at ASG has some already converted for under $400 for the barrels. Find a deal on any caliber and just buy one of his converted barrels. Sell the othr barrel if you dont want it and buy the Apex full contour stock from Bergara. The stock is dirt cheap.
