Finally got my Apex conversion done. This is my first Apex and so far I really like it. It's very light and has a nice trigger. Excited to get it to the range and air it out

They are nice shooting rifles. I also have one but in camo. Be sure and wear a little shoulder protection because that light of a rifle it has a kick to it. Not bad but you'll know its there.

finished this build prior to Indiana deer season . love it great woods gun and smokeless shooter. doe was shot at 336 yds . bergara 45/70 barrels fine piece of stainless after some lapping really shoot well.

Did you have to modify the end of the barrel to have space for your plug? Is it a bushing plug or does it use vent liners?

And last but not least will you do it for others?

Sorry for all the questions but that looks pretty dang cool.

Yes barrel gets faced off first to allow for qrb plug .then machine internal threads and shoulder to accept new plug. It is a carbide bushing plug.. very nice setup. Yes will do other guns. Thanks email [email protected]

thanks love it great hunting gun and very accurate. 1 moa gun out to 350 yds. plug so easy to clean and use, done last one using variflame module for large rifle primer . im still on fence concerning rifle vs 209 but guess jury still out on that debate.. mine goes boom every time with 209 . rifle primer build still early but hasn't misfired either ?
